Vessels

“I started making vessels to help people go beyond a limited, visual experience. To me sculpture is tactile and meant to be enjoyed in its three dimensional form. For thousands of years societies have created vessels to hold and store their most precious objects or something as simple as their hopes and dreams.”

Zen’eibana

Zen’eibana is the Japanese art of flower arranging. This modern style of floral art explores the freedom of expression over the classic rules of ikebana. The less-formal style combines natural bontanicals with other materials such as wood, metal and stone to create a beautiful sculpture. Casey gracefully adds his unique style by incorporating his popular blossoms with black coral, bamboo and other organic materials on patinaed stainless steel spheres.
